Three speakers, lunch and expert-led Tai Chi exercises are all part of the Community Symposium “The Power of the Human Spirit” to be held at Quail Creek’s Madera Clubhouse on Friday, Feb. 13. Sponsored by La Posada and the Green Valley News, the Symposium is open to the public.
Speakers include Dr. Roger Landry, author of “Live Long, Die Short: a Guide to Authentic Health and Successful Aging;” Dennis Creps, who will talk about “Life’s a Game” approach to building a strong brain through playful learning and interactive exercises; and Anthony Brito, discussing “Understanding the Human Spirit’s Journey from Chaos to Peace of Mind.”
Tickets are $27 and include the program and lunch. Tickets must be purchased by Feb. 5 and they are on sale at various locations at La Posada, the Green Valley News & Sun office, Green Valley Chamber of Commerce and Community Connect.
