Calling all Hunger Heroes! The 2016 HungerWalk is September 17th!

What creates a caring community?

Volunteers and advocacy create a caring community!

According to the 2015 Community Food Bank Gratitude Report, the Green Valley Branch of Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona conducted the following food insecurity activities:

  • Assisted 56,000 local clients with emergency food assistance
  • Distributed 1.2 million pounds of food, fresh produce accounting for 181,000 pounds
  • Put 1 million meals on local tables that might otherwise sit empty

Now is the time to step up and become a Hunger Hero! Hunger Heroes build caring communities by helping friends and neighbors falling short on their nutritional needs.
