Your Gift Makes a Difference

Whether you make a one-time or a recurring donation, you can be assured that your support is valued by our residents and by those served by La Posada’s outreach programs.

Your tax-deductible gift can be dedicated to a project, a program, or for general enhancement of the lives of our residents and into the community at large.

Memorial gifts are both comforting and meaningful. Our staff can help you choose a way to honor a loved one with a monetary remembrance gift or a tribute that becomes a permanent part of our campus. There are many ways to express the impact of a special person who has passed. Please call us at 520-648-7910 or send an email:

La Posada’s Central Park continues to be developed in phases. In 2015, the Prose Garden (above) and Chess Garden (below) were completed. The Park was initiated by long-time resident Walter Schuster with an idea in 2005 and we are very glad we listened to him!

Please look at The Gardens of Central Park brochure for an intimate look at the gardens. The role of philanthropy in the development of the various gardens cannot be overemphasized; the park simply would not be as unique, sensory, and meaningful without the support of our many friends.

Center Stage 2016 photo

Our next phase in Central Park will be Center Stage. The above rendering shows what it could look like if you were standing by the entrance to the Prose Garden with your back to the Meditation Garden. You can see the bandshell, the covered seating, and in the background, the outdoor dining, BBQ, and catering building with storage and unisex bathroom. As with previous Central Park phases, we will look for philanthropic support to move the project along. Hopefully, that will occur in 2019/2020.

Certified Outdoor Classroom at Los Ninos del Valle.

Gardening. Wood-working. Reading under a shade tree. Painting in the open air.  These are some of the things that will be expanding at Los Ninos del Valle as the Outdoor Classroom develops. Children will be engaged in nature in many ways- perhaps painting or creating music from natural materials. Volunteers who enjoy helping children learn in a natural environment will be an important part of the Outdoor Classroom. “Indoor” volunteer opportunities also exist for individuals wanting to make a difference in a child’s life.
